Why Focus On The Family is of the Devil
Why Focus On The Family is of the Devil
A Former Christian's Perspective
By Brian Elroy McKinley

Focus On The Family damages more souls than they save. The Colorado Springs-based religious organization is responsible for destroying the faith of countless believers through their radio programs, videos and books. What's worse, they do it ever so subtly by holding themselves up as defenders of all things good and decent. This gives them the perfect shield behind which to carry on their faith-killing activities unnoticed.

The subtle nature of their crime blinds even themselves. They leave their offices each evening, patting themselves on the back for the great "good" they are doing and never realizing how many souls they have pushed out of the Kingdom of God that day. Through Focus On The Family, the Devil has created the perfect spy, the perfect mole for destroying faith from the inside out.

1. If that's the case, then *'s the devil too.
His religious platform and emphasis on his faith put the final nail in the coffin of my interest in Christianity or any other organized religion for that matter. And I know I'm not the only one out there who feels this way!

2. As far as I'm concerned, they'll all rot in hell.
If Dante were alive today, he'd create awhole new level for these fuckers. It's been a while since I read the Inferno, but if there was a level for hypocrites it wouldn't provide sufficient torture.

It's one thing to go after religious extremists who are killing Americans - but using religious extremism in your own country to destroy your own people while vilifying your enemy (because he uses the same tactics) certainly warrants your own special place in hell.

I am praying for the Rapture to take James Dobson, Jerry Falwell, dumbya, and all the little fuckers who follow them straight to hell.

Whew. Now I feel a little better.

You have been given intruction on how to live your life
and yet you spend your time trying to create god in man’s image.

Why do you try to make GOD so small?

5. I Have That Bumper Sticker....
...on the back of my truck. I get dirty looks all the time while I drive around Colorado Springs.

6. Cool
My brother is a Southern Baptist Fundy and actually made a "pilgrimage" to FOTF HQ a few years ago as part of a vacation trip to Colorado.

To state the obvious, we rarely discuss politics or religion when he visits Seattle...

9. You are one brave soul.
I love that sticker.

I am definitely not brave enough to drive around with it in the VERY Colorado Springs area.

My hat is off to you!

7. FotF
Is really a nice scam to get money from people. It also allows them to hide their anti-American and anti-gay agenda in terms of Christianity. If Jesus was here, he'd pop a cap in dat ass.
