As we are on the verge of Good Friday
I would like to offer the Christian members of this forum a good holiday weekend. I was a Christian for 20-some years. I remember some good things about the holiday.

I hope you enjoy your celebrations.

1. Alaskans tend to get a little nervous about Good Friday
1964 Quake and 1989 EXXON VALDEZ disaster. :scared: But happy Easter to everyone anyway. :)

The best thing I remember about this time of year is how all the days of holy week were like one long holiday; days set outside the normal routine of time. And the vigil service was my favorite (more fun than squishing into a pew with an EC catholic on easter day) because you got to stay up late and go to a not-mass.
