The difference between "Christian" fundamentalists and Nazism is that the former doesn't have quite the stigma that Nazism does in this country, and is growing by leaps and bounds. It's the largest cult in the US, and it truly is a cult-like movement.

I know it's not practical to outlaw fundamentalism, but we can take steps to marginalize it as much as possible. The best course of action is education, letting the American people know exactly what's going on. Americans wouldn't stand by idly while the Aryan Nations gained power - in fact, their marches are usually met by much larger counter-protests. So why do they sit on their hands while a much more sinister group attempts to consolidate power? Because they don't quite associate Fundamentalists with evil. Usually the response to fundamentalism is a shrug of the shoulders, and rolling of the eyes. If more people knew exactly what was at stake, there would be much more alarm.

4. I've been thinking about this.

I've had the question in my mind for a while.

Why are the corporatists weakening american society, weakening the military, creating enemies, and destroying the economy. I hadn't come up with a satisfying answer because I kept thinking of the bush family and others involved as letting a foreign power in. At first I thought israel, but Israel seems to use the US for money and aid and little else, then I thought chinese corporatists, but they have no need for dominance as we are a cash cow for them. Well This little clip made me recognize a lingering fear, that it was to take over america with corporatist loyalists using religion. I had disassociated the two I guess because it's so scary, so frightening, and it makes me feel helpless.

How can I, hopefully 'we' stop them? Will exposing the monster work? Or do we have to fight them?
