Someone here posted several months ago when Zappos.com had a very short term offer to let you sign up to become a VIP member--free, no obligation. This allows you to get unlimited overnight shipping (their "slower" shipping is always free, but this is OVERNIGHT).

I promptly went to the site and signed up, but then forgot about it, as I'd always pretty much been a onlineshoes.com buyer. Imagine my pleasant surprise, when I had to find several pairs of shoes--and fast-- for a business trip and the site REMINDED ME that I could use the VIP site and get the overnight shipping.
