Online shopping is skyrocketing!!!
Edited on Sun Mar-13-11 02:48 PM by ohtransplant
Especially with the cost of gasoline... There are lots of deals to be had and many include discounts and free shipping! I order things online and get them delivered free to my doorstep.

Why not get cash back too??? This is real spendable cash without any limit.

Here’s how it works. I just begin my shopping at a single page (http://bit.ly/hPExr4 ) and then click through to my destination. Once at my destination site I make my purchase. Poof, cash back is credited to my account. This way I get the best deals, save money on shipping and get 2 – 35% cash back on my purchases too.

Our portal (http://bit.ly/hPExr4 ) is connected to over 3500 of the most popular web shopping sites. I use it for travel (over 20 sites), office supplies (Staples, Office Depot, OfficeMax), drugstore items, clothing (Macey’s Kohls and many more) Cell and computer accessories (accessorygeeks.com) and great prepared food I use to save money on lunch (no refrigeration require). I even save 80% on restaurant gift certificates. All with cash back.

It’s completely free to use. Just sign in so the system can track your cash back.

There’s no obligation to ever use the portal again but who doesn’t want to save money?

Try it. You'll like it! :toast: Cheers! :toast:

4. I make the effort to support mom and pops.
In fact I frequent many small businesses and local farm markets. I also believe we must make an effort to support local businesses. Just yesterday I ate at a local chili shop and an ice cream parlor. If we're judicious there's room for local businesses in our shopping dollar.

There are also many small businesses linked to our shopping portal. I use them too! If you know of a small business with a web site that would be interested in linking to our portal, please let me know and I can submit their information.

6. They were already dying
but this does grease the skids a bit.

On the other hand, it does make for a better world in other ways. I'm fixing a friend's Dell laptop (I used to be known as laptoprepairguy here), and managed to find a part to fix it for five bucks, delivered. There's no way a mom and pop, or even a big box store would help, and if I went to Dell's website, they'd charge a fortune for the part. Thus, one more piece of electronic equipment spared a bit longer from the garbage heap, and serving its owner for more time.

3. I live in a small Florida town. I use the internet to save on gas ...
the nearest large store is a Walmart twenty miles away. Walmart is NOT my favorite place to shop. Other large stores are 35 miles away. Few Mom and Pop stores are located near me.

I can order almost anything I want online. I have had a Amazon.com prime membership for five years and I get many items delivered in two days free. If I have a problem, I go online and ask Amazon to call me. I'm usually on the phone with a human who speaks American in less than one minute. So far, every problem has been resolved to my total satisfaction.

I retired to this area from the Tampa Bay area and had it not been for the internet, shopping would have been a problem. Even when I lived in Tampa there were items which were impossible to find locally that were easy to obtain on the internet. Frequently I get a better price on the internet than I would in a brick and concrete store.

I'll have to try out your cash back idea. Sounds good to me.

5. Thanks!
80% off on local restaurants got me too!

I also like the portal because I don't have to change where I shop online. I just start at the portal (http://bit.ly/hPExr4 )and click through.

8. saving with cash back websites

Online shopping provides a lot of opportunities for saving money while shopping. Several cash back sites, coupon sites, rewards programs are available on the net that help shoppers saving online. Such facilities are not available in the brick and mortar stores. Moreover, online retailers provide special offers to the online buyers. Being a frugal online buyer, I always use cash back websites like ShopAtHome, FatWallet, AAfter Search and Ebates, and MrRebates.
