(Note: No money was paid or quid-pro-quo arranged for the use of this t-shirt on The Big Bang Theory, nor is the use of the photo or name of the show in any way implying an endorsement of the shirt or Intellivision by the show, its network, its producers or its actors. We simply enjoy the program and offered them a free t-shirt; they thought this was one the character Sheldon would like and wear. We think you'll like and wear it, too.)

Astrosmash T-shirt appears on The Big Bang Theory
Our popular Astrosmash T-shirt, available in our web store, appeared on an episode of CBS's The Big Bang Theory early in 2010, worn by the character Sheldon. "I noticed the characters on the show wore t-shirts featuring comic book and science fiction themes," says Intellivision President Keith Robinson. "On one show, Sheldon wore a TRON shirt. Next day, I called the show's production office and offered to send them an Intellivision tee. An associate producer looked at our web store and said she liked the Astrosmash shirt; did we have them in medium? Luckily, we had one medium left."

1. That game had a time-limit on the "pause" feature.
I remember trying to win a prize by getting past a certain score and having issues accommodating bathroom breaks.

2. My nostalgia post has been reduced to sales

I was an Intellivision nut. Also Coleco, Adam, Atari 2600 and others. Marta, our grown kids, and I have fond memories of those days.

Marta and I also love Big Bang. This wasn't meant to spur sales near as much as spur memories with a tie in to a current top 10 comedy show.
