2. I don't pay much attention to these things, but I thought size 8 was average.
My ex-wife is a 2-3 and I know she's small, but I thought average was 8-10.

3. The average American woman is a size 12-14.
For some perspective, Marilyn Monroe was said to be in that range most of the time, I would say closer to the 12 range most of the time. She was about 5'5, I think.

We may be a generally overweight society, but we pay far too much attention to the numbers.

One of the latest ads I saw recently was where Queen Latifah was saying that she was a "healthier size" now that she had started a certain program. Bout time someone came out with adverts like that.

4. I didn't know that was what her size was. I am the same size and I don't

like it at all. Plus I gave away all my heavier clothes the last time I lost weight and people gave me a bunch of size 8's so now I have very little to wear.

My mother always tells me to get clothes that fit and I will look better and of course be more comfortable. I have bought some things at the local Good Will recently.

The thing about being a size 12-14 is, for me, I feel uncomfortable. I feel bloated and like my stomach is blown up like a basket ball.

Some people are better and feel more comfortable at a higher weight and some don't. I'm one of the ones that don't. Maybe because I got real heavy once and I fear that will happen again. I have a friend who is obese and maybe morbidly obese and she works a lot and does all sorts of thing. She is always on the go and I wonder how she does it with a weight of over 300 pounds.
