What if there really is a conservative conspiracy?
My novel, The Founding Five, is a political thriller that takes a hard look at how the far right was able to manipulate America's political conscience and turn the country to the right. Although it's a work of fiction, the message is clear about where conservative ideology may lead if we continue down the road we are traveling.

1. What do you mean "if"?
The VRWC is an established fact.

2. It isn't a conspiracy because PNAC never hid their intentions. They
laid it all out in plain view. And nobody paid attention. Bush got the election from Gore...and the rest is history. Not a conspiracy.

4. If they conspired together...
it was a conspiracy; it's not necessarily required for the conspiring to be done in private/secret (though that is the more common meaning/usage), so long as the act in harmony toward a common end. At least, that's my take on iterpreting the definitions; I could be wrong.

5. Yes but it isn't a "conspiracy theory" per se. Dems have known and
GOP have long curried favour with evangelicals and other like groups. What the GOP has done with wedge issues is also not a "conspiracy theory". That has been public knowledge for a generation.
