12. It's actually pretty easy to set up a shop

Just go to their help page and read. They take care of all the shipping, collecting tax etc. When your sales reach $25 (or higher if specified) they will mail you a check. Start with the free shop and then go premium for a minimum cost per month if things work out. The real key to selling at CafePress is getting the right tags and posting the url wherever you can.

Just a note: order a couple of your own designs first to make sure you like the quality.

3. Question? Would KO be considered a political figure or a celebrity?
because on Cafepress, you're not allowed to sell things that depict celebrities (political figures like * are okay though)

4. Use it!
I would just use it until CafePress tells you to take it down. Which they might never do because:
A- It is acceptable
or
B- It falls under their radar

9. Don't give up!

tinfoil,

You can ask for help at the CafePress help forums. People there are very helpful and knowledgeable. The shops are pretty easy to set up and run. Each item has a "base price" that CafePress keeps for the product and printing, marketplace administration, etc., and you simply add a "mark-up" over and above that base. CafePress sends you the mark-up for each item that you sell in your shop.

10. the problem with cafe press
the problem with cafe press that I hear is that they iron on the design. That means the design fades and flakes very badly and very quickly. I was going to do the same thing but I didn't want my designs falling apart. The Oberman design is a good idea. Just make the Oberman pic a bit starker. Other than that good idea!

13. CafePress printing
CafePress uses Direct Print or Heat Transfer methods for garment printing, based on the design or the shopkeeper's preference. Direct printing is the default, and that's direct-to-fabric with no transfers. For dark-colored shirts, direct printing is the only method.

Hope that's helpful for someone. :)

11. There's no room in this forum for you with the spammer loose
I presume someone complained to the mods about that?

Sorry I can't be of any more help at the moment than kicking your thread.
