Jermaine Jackson claims $150K in jewelry, furs stolen after claimng he can't afford child support
Jermaine Jackson -- Hit By a Smooth Criminal!

12/19/2010 1:00 AM PST by TMZ Staff

http://www.tmz.com/2010/12/19/jermaine-jackson-halim-rashid-luggage-stolen-jewelry-furs-clothing-child-support-jaafar-jermajesty/

TMZ has learned ... Jermaine Jackson filed a police report claiming someone stole more than $150,000 in jewelry, furs, and clothes ... just one week after he went to court claiming he couldn't afford to pay child support.

Law enforcement sources tell us Jackson and his wife, Halina Rashid, claim in the report -- filed with the L.A. County Sheriff's Department -- someone took a Louis Vuitton bag containing the treasure trove from their Calabasas home back in September.

The home -- which Jermaine rents -- is in the same gated community Katherine Jackson is temporarily living in while her Encino home undergoes extensive renovation.

We're told Jermaine claimed the bag contained some ultra-expensive watches, among other pricey items. Our law enforcement sources say the case is under investigation ... but so far no suspects.

A week after Jackson filed the police report, he filed docs in his child support case -- claiming he couldn't afford the $3,000/month for his kids, Jaafar and Jermajesty. He'd like the payment reduced to $215 a month.

It doesn't take a mathematician to figure this one out.

3. Jermaine is sure sad Michael is gone
He was but one of many leaches out there that were living off of Michael. Now that Michael as gone no one is left to pay the bills except for 80 year old Katherine Jackson, his mother.

Sickening situation at best! Shame on you Jermaine! :(

8. He was an o.k. singer and had one hit single back in the day.
I wonder why he wasn't able to do as well as Janet and Michael?

I feel for his kids.

10. Kind of unfair. He had several hits and co-produced Whitney Houston's debut album
Jermaine Jackson & Whitney Houston ~ If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-wGrWyFvLs

Jermaine Jackson & Whitney Houston ~ Take Good Care Of My Heart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQgVGhXxJWs

Jermaine Jackson & Whitney Houston-Shock Me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fobmMTMMBmU

Hits (off the top of my head):

In all actuality, and not to excuse Jermaine, but his former wife is really messed up. Katherine is constantly buying groceries for them because any cash they give her gets spent on clothes and jewelry for herself instead.

It can't be easy being Michael Jackson's brother but I also don't think Jermaine was willing to work as hard as Michael did. Michael didn't have much of a life outside of his music. I don't think that was a good thing.

How did I end up in this forum?

11. Want to add one thing. This woman is an unimaginable freeloader
Edited on Fri Jan-07-11 09:56 AM by Catherina
and about to get kicked out of Havenhurst where she's been living rent-free for years.

She not only went from one brother, Randy, to Jermaine who married her but it later turned out she was already married when she walked down the aisle with Jermaine. Later when she started trying to milk him (while still being a bigamist), the the judge was so shocked that he ordered Jermaine to suspend all alimony payments. For years Jermaine and his wife Halima have been trying to get custody of the kids after reports of her being a very unfit mother. Lately she's been trying to milk him again and Jermaine ain't playing- especially not while she freeloads at Havenhurst.

The result of her greedy drama? Katherine decided to kick her out of Havenhurst. She refused to budge since the original 2009 request and amped the *Jermaine is a deadbeat dad* stories. Katherine even offered to buy her a condo but she still refused to move out. Now the estate has stepped in to legally evict her. Shed no tears, she'll still get a nice condo.

It's WAR at the Michael Jackson House

Here's the petition for order to vacate that Branca and McClain submitted after Alejandra refused Katherine's request: http://tmz.vo.llnwd.net/o28/newsdesk/tmz_documents/0106_jackson.pdf

Alejandra really messed over her own daughter, Genevieve, who Katherine was originally allowing to stay. Since the estate stepped in, Genevieve is out too. That's some odd motherly love fer ya.

This woman is almost as bad as Oksana G. I hope Jermaine and Halima can finally get custody of his kids.
