The red-haired actress becomes the 16th star to be honored on the U.S. Postal Service's Legends of Hollywood stamp series.
After the dedication ceremony, actor Sam Waterson said, "She was tremendously disciplined and terribly eager for everybody else to succeed so we could all succeed together."

1. Katharine Hepburn was an incredible actress.
Just watch Guess Who's Coming to Dinner and you'll see what I mean. I'm not sure there's any actress today who can even come close to Hepburn.

2. I've always thought GWCTD was a vastly UNDER-rated performance by her.

Her few critics say "She's the same in every movie" or "She's very mannered."

Well, in this one, Hepburn plays 'normal' and does it very, very well.

Good call!

The red bathrobe that Tracy wears in this scene was what he was wearing when he died a few weeks later.

3. Minor criticism
Something other than a B/W picture would have been good here.

Still, you can see the strength in her eyes in this picture. I personally have always found Kate to be a very interesting character when you look into her eyes. (The red hair must have something to do with this)
