Supernatural
So Dean gets flung into the future to see the results of his bad decision and one of the first things we see is a headline about President Palin.

I've been growing weary of the show lately, but that headline made this episode worth putting up with the fact that the show's target audience is one-third my age.

1. I've been "Supernatural" curious:)
Haven't watched... I don't watch much of that kind of TV... Frindge is really the only show I try to catch weekly... it's in the middle of some flashback stuff... 9/11 stuff... I just like quirky old scientists:) I've always had a soft spot for them:)

2. Frindge, huh?
:hi:

I'll have to check into that one! Doctor Who is the closest thing to a quirky old scientist on my "don't miss" list and I need to branch out.

An Asatruar friend of mine is annoyed that Supernatural gives kids wrong information about monsters, but it's fun. It used to be more in the X-Files vein and geared a little more toward an adult audience, but it still beats the heck out of most of the junk on TV.

3. Fringe... I spell bad on Mondays... and type even worse!
LOL!!! Didn't even spell check that one... jeez...

I'm all for anything that makes people think.

I loved X-Files for the first season. I was worried that Fringe would "dumb down" too much... but the second season has been killer so far!

Most of what's on TV is junk.

:hi:

PBS... Fringe... Simpsons... and a couple of cartoons... that's about it for me:) I used to like the cooking shows, but they make me hungry:)

4. LOL - I found the website.
I do remember hearing of that show, and the first season synopsis sounds great. I'm adding that to my scheduled recordings, and I thank you very much for pointing me towards something worthwhile!

:)

I tend to watch more BBC America than anything else (Being Human, Torchwood, Doctor Who), The History Channel sometimes when it's not all about war and/or Jesus, a few things on OPB like Bill Moyers Journal, and then True Blood and Supernatural are my guilty pleasures. I also love Warehouse 13.

I guess there are quite a few shows that I like. Who knew?
