Clearly he had "issues." Perhaps he was molested himself. Maybe he molested in turn. On the other hand perhaps he did nothing at all except seek intimacy in a screwed up/unconventianal way. Even if you assume the worse and he was a threat to kids, he's not alive anymore so it doesn't matter. If he did molest, all you can do is hope his victim(s) seek/sought help.

If you want to write about this intelligently, carry it over into the macro analysis--most perps started out as victim's themselves. How do you end the cycle?
