Omg!! BoA Kwon Comes to San Francisco!

One of the biggest Asian superstars, BoA Kwon (Korean) comes to San Francisco this Sunday (June 28th, 2009) for a free concert, and I am so stoked!! She has recently released her first American Album in English, featuring the song, EAT YOU UP. I love all her Japanese and Korean songs, including one theme from the Anime, Inuyasha, called Every Heart. I will so be there!!!

1. I've loved BoA for years!
Fantastic dancer and performer, and she deserves to become as famous here as she is in Asia.

5. I WENT TO THE CONCERT WOOOOOOOT!!
PHOTOS FROM BOA'S FIRST USA CONCERT!!!

Yes, I went, and I have to tell you, this was one exciting concert. Despite an very impressive headline, (The Clicks, Solange Knowles, Hispanic superstar Fey, Essence, Dolorata, Diamond Daggers, Vinsantos, Flow, and Atomic Blonde) and BoA not being the head liner, was fantastic and held up her own. Having produced Nine albums, will do that for you!

I had staked out a spot by the stage fence at 11am and waited the entire day till 4:40 pm when BoA took the stage for the largest screams and cheers. Don't anyone kid yourself, she was the head liner to the mostly Asian crowd that came to see her.

She preformed "EAT YOU UP" as well as two new songs from her newly released album. The only disappointment was the fact she only did three songs. People screamed for an encore, but she didn't come back. It would have been nice to see her do at least one song in Japanese or Korean, but that never was to be. What a fantastic experience!
