62nd Golden Globe Awards Nominations
Source: The Hollywood Foreign Press Association December 13, 2004


The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominations for the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Monday December 13th 2004, at 5.30 a.m. PST. The Golden Globe Awards will be held Sunday, January 16, 2005 and telecast live on NBC (8-11 p.m. EST). Sideways led the film nominations with seven, followed by The Aviator with six.

9. Passion of Christ considered a "foreign film" ?
I didn't see the movie, but someone who responded on the news said it was done in a foreign language with subtitles, and the Hollywood Foreign Press doesn't do "foreign films" :silly:

Nor do they do "Docs" which explains why no F911.

8. Talk about outdated categories. Ray is a drama but it get's included with
comedies because people still made musicals many of which were comedic regularly what, 40 years ago?
