1. Couldn't read it with all the advertisements that covered up the
first I don't know how many paragraphs. And as for the picture, all I could see was a fuzzy bald head. Was there a face that went with that egg-shaped dome?

I hate ads that do that.

3. The article credits him with the "notion" of Sgt. Pepper's ...
... whatever that means. Name? Album cover?

From the article:

"... Aspinall came up with the notion of Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band for their 1967 album, and tracked down the photographs of the Beatles' heroes that were used in Peter Blake's album sleeve."

He was important to the Beatles and music, though most of us wouldn't recognize his name. Started out as a driver, ended up running Apple Corps. It is telling that he resigned last year as CEO of Apple Corps after 40 years of running their business because he was "reportedly frustrated that the band's musical legacy was being compromised in the quest for profits."

4. Hmmmm. Wonder if that means he didn't like the last release of
their work (LOVE).

5. Or perhaps putting the catalog on iTunes?
IMO, iTunes is great for individual song downloads, but de-emphasizes the album concept (does Apple sell many entire albums through iTunes?).

I dunno.
