Half my library is now pdf copies of online books.

And now....MORE?????

I might finish the "To Read" list by the time I am 150.

5. I can't tell you how much I use google books, project guttenberg, etc.
My work involves having to fact-check a lot of quotations and footnotes. I used to have to spend hours in libraries. Now, so many books (the more obscure the better, and older more than new) are searchable on the Web.

That said, I wouldn't want to read one that way: I have to sit at a computer long enough each day.

6. When I was completing my Graduate degree in History
I found some of the online sites invaluable for accessing older, more obscure works (such as a 1911 study on the Fifth Monarchy Men). I, too, grew tired of reading online but it remains a viable alternative to my home library which is about to take over my house. :D
