Anyone read it? I recommend it. It's a very fast read too.

1. I found it fascinating
The sub-title is "the fish that changed the world" and I gained a new respect for cod.
I read it when I was beginning my genealogy research and finding generations of Norwegian cod fisherman.

2. Unfortunately, I come from a long line of preachers.
I don't particularly care to look up my genealogy because of that.

I've never eaten Cod before, and all those recipes are making me pine for fish.

5. I will be posting it on paperbackswap.com in about 30 days.
Just got it, Mr. D. is reading it now, then me, then posting.

6. I have not read that one, but I have read his Basque History of the World
That was absolutely fabulous so when I get some spare reading time I may pick up Cod. Thanks for the recommendation.
