"Plot to Seize the White House" is back in print.

The long suppressed story of how American fascists (including Bush's grandfather) tried to get Smedley Butler to lead a fascist coup in
the 30s is finally out in paperback:

1. That is GREAT news!
I had unwisely loaned my copy of that book to a friend, about 15 years ago. A few years ago, I made a web-search and found that it was unobtainable at ANY price. A reasonable conclusion could be drawn from that. I can't help feeling that this unexpected re-release of that classic, is somehow linked to that Seismic Event of last November!

3. I have the HTML version of that book stashed away in my HD.
I'll go through it again later, but I don't recall Prescott Bush's name being mentioned there. (I could be wrong, though)

12. I got my copy at the library, it was in the closed stacks (basement)
So you might find a copy there. I'm replying to all of you but you mentioned Prescott Bush. His name is not mentioned but he was in that crowd of people; I did a google on it and came up with some very intesting and further info on this incident.

General Smedly D. Butler though....I sure wish he lived again in our time. He was right on the money and thank God, just thank God, we had him when we did. That is one way scrary story.

4. What we need is for Hollywood to make a movie - then maybe enough people will know of it.
Seems like the best way to reach the most people. We need ALL artists to join in the information game - singers, writers and movie makers. It would definitely generate enough controversy for good attendence.

5. I'm curious as to the series of events that led to this suddenly being
available (and so cheap and easy to get).

7. Lets all buy a copy. This is a great story. I just ordered on Amazon.
Get all the great details about the DuPont role in this and all the other traitors who were never outed or punished. I'll bet Roosevelt screwed these guys to the wall in a serious way. I can't even imagine what this was like but you simply won't believe how close we came. Butler is a great man and he is a hero in his role.

I'd read it a few years ago, got it from the library. Have a hankerin' for a new book, and since the plumber's bill today came to only $84 :eyes: I actually have some money to buy one.
