"EHM" is a chilling, infuriating book which really 'connects the dots' to use an already overused term. The US government making huge loans to developing countries to buy support and enrich US construction and development firms - knowing the countries will NEVER be able to repay them and will improverish their citizens trying to do so.

The United States as Mafia goombah loanshark, with a revolving door between the highest levels of industry and government - Tom Paine would be so proud. :cry:

these are 2 you (or anyone else) will ever hear about.

They're all too busy selling Santorum and others.

5. I'm Going to Tell You a Secret
You can start one book before finishing another! I do it all the time.;-) Actually, I usually am reading three or four books at a time. I even keep a book in the car in case I get caught in a traffic jam.

6. Oh I've got 3 books going now...but I can only borrow 1 at a time

..from the bookstore where I work. I've got 'EHM' now and just happened across 'The Last True Story' over the weekend. :)


My 2 other books currently reading:
'Acts of Faith' (Novel about relief workers in Sudan)
'Prophet of Zongo Street' (short stories by a writer from Ghana)
