Kevin Trudeau - What They don't Want you to know
I saw this at Borders and thumbed through it. Seemed pretty crappy, but I thought I'd check out the reviews on Amazon.com. They were mixed, either loved it or hated it. It's a rant against chemical additives, etc. The book seemed to refer you to websites quite a bit, including his own. Turns out - surprise, surprise - that it's a scientology website. So now we have non-fiction bestsellers promoting what can only be described as a science fiction religion. God help us (so to speak).

5. Yes and ....
if I remember correctly he said that he had also been arrested for stealing or selling (?) the credit card information of people who had ordered the book from him (or products from him in the past). I would say to anyone on here who ordered this thing to keep close tabs on your credit card...

4. Dr. Dean Edell claimed that Trudeau spent time in prision...
I dont always believe what the doctor says, but if its untrue he could be charged with slander.

Frankly, I think Trudeau is a con-man as well.

Then again many doctors are quacks, who care only for the money and the freebies the drug companies hand out like vactions, for prescribing deadly drugs like Vioxx, Lipitor and other statins.

7. He did spend time in prison
And has been fined by the FTC on numerous occasions. he is selling books this time because they are protected by the First Amendment but they are largely crap.

Even before hitting the bestseller list, Trudeau, who is in his early 40s, had built a billion-dollar empire as a prolific infomercialteer, selling various health and self-improvement products under the cover of night. This despite a two-year stint in federal prison in the early '90s after pleading guilty to credit card fraud, and a 1996 tangle with the Illinois attorney general, who accused him of running a pyramid scheme while working for a health-products company called Nutrition for Life. Trudeau and a co-defendant settled that case, paying $185,000 to Illinois and seven other states; during that time, the U.S. Postal Service and Securities and Exchange Commission also investigated his business dealings

3. I ordered that book
But I sent it back. He kept referring you to websites....so why spend over 30 bucks for his book when you can look it all up on the net? I thought it stunk.
