If so, please post your thoughts. I'm THIS close to buying it...but I have a huge backlog of books that I haven't read. I'm a big fan of Michael Chabon's..."Kavalier and Klay" was just about perfect.

6. Just Got the Book
I have a fabulous library that makes new books available easily! Can barely put this down. But wanted to say thank you for the link. What a great service Borders is doing! I was not aware of it. However, I am getting to the point where I am spending more time reading more about books than actually reading books!

2. Thank you for posting
I just watched the video with him speaking about his book. How incredibly interesting, I will put it on my list of must reads.

4. No, but it's on a list of books I can get for review.
Wondering if I'd like it. Probably; at least it deals with an intriguing alternate-history idea and setting.

8. Well, it's not a job I can support myself with--
but I'm lucky to havve it all the same. The vast majority of book review gigs don't pay at all.

I didn't get assigned "The Yiddish Policeman's Union", as it turns out, but may get it from the library and read it anyway.
