8. I don't think I can live here anymore.
I don't want any part of what these people
have planned.
The writing is on the wall:
They are fascists with technology.
Time to get FAR, FAR away from them.

20. We need to demand paper trail for voting
We need every dam state that has a ballot iniative process - to pass paper audit data to make sure these black boxes are up to the task.

3. no fucking way
I don't believe that for a minute.

Someone has been hacking the election numbers.

Not with the turnout for Kerry and the low approval ratings that bushie has been consistently pulling.

10. This is possible, but how the hell will anyone ever prove it?
This election has been an unmitigated disaster for the progressive movement in America (at least as it pertains to cultural issues)

5. They have been blatantly LYING...
Cheating and stealing for the last four years.
Did we really expect them to do differently today?
They are THUGS who apparently feel NO threat
of accountability for their outrageous and illegal
actions.
We are FUCKED.

6. Americans have cast their lot for theocracy
It was always a danger that it would happen here. That's why the founding fathers were so serious about curtailing it.

The majority of Americans WANT this.

They want this foreign policy
They want this economy
They want Bush's cultural values

It's unbearably sad, but it's true.

The popular vote has been an icy dagger in my heart. I see all the gay marriage initiatives passing and I question whether America is fixable.

The Republicans have decidedly won the American culture war tonight.

12. It is truly shameful.
Is it not?
But anyone even half way paying attention to
what is happening is wisely packing their bags
and making sure their passport is current.

I am profoundly dejected. I feel we could kick ass in 2008, what with cylces and everything.

But still, tonight...I am SAD.

I figured one or both candidates tonight would surpass Reagan's total of 54+ million votes in 1984. Kerry may pass it too.

19. Just like 2002 he got exactly what he wanted
except he might have upped the cheating and held his breath. Why not 100%
like Saddam? That would be a "surprise"! Already making real lame excuses for exit polls which, under pressure MUST have readjusted to favor Bush already!

This is a steaming pile of GOP manure and the media calls it perfume.

and they have to justify the Diebold Miracle with increased popular numbers..

simple :)

They cooked the books, and now they will "burn" them so no one can even see them..

and...

Since * had No mandate in 2K, his "people" had to make sure that e had one this time,..

When you control the machines that count and store the votes, it;s a snap.

23. WE DID NOT GET THE TRUTH ABOUT 9/11 TO ENOUGH PEOPLE
End of story. THE ONLY WAY TO END THE BUSH REGIME THAT IS POSSIBLE IS TO GET THE HIDDEN TRUTH ABOUT WHAT THEY DID ON 9/11/2001 OUT TO ENOUGH PEOPLE. The Democrats did not really try. Thus, like German Social Democrats who did not insist on the truth about what the Nazi's did with Reichstag Fire, they effectively and irrevocably surrenedered to Facism. IF THE TRUTH ABOUT 9/11 GOT OUT THE REPUBLICANS WOULD BE THROWN OUT BY A LANDLSLIDE. OTHERWISE, FASCISM IN THIS COUNTRY IS INEVITABLE. That was always clear to anyone who dared to face the terrible truth. Unfortunately, not enough Democrats were capable of facing it.
