Recount Options - weighing what to do next
I guess this is somewhat of a "vanity" thread and I apologize - feel free to move or delete this, but I am looking for some guidance on how to get involved in the efforts in Ohio - by making a donation or passing info to a ton of friends who are Kerry voters and need to know what is going on.

The problem is, so much of the action has been kept "behind the scenes," ignored by the mainstream media (and hushed by the Kerry camp as well?) that other than office gossip and what I've been frantically reading on DU today, I really don't know what is going on. I've heard the Greens are leading an effort, I've heard Nader is leading an effort.. Dems in Ohio possibly..

I'm wondering if anyone can shed some honest light on who is conducting the most unified effort, and where you think we have the best chance of succeeding? And if I were to make a (modest) donation, with whom do you think it would be best spent - with the clock ticking as it is?

I apologize for my ignorance, and I would never make a post like this except that I feel time is of the essence here.. And I've been trying to read up on this in the bits of spare time I have at work, but I'm just not getting much done.

Please help! I desperately want to support recount in Ohio..

2. They need more volunteers
at this point. Get on the web site and volunteer, take as many friends with you as possible! That would be a huge help.
