I try to talk to people about it... Even Democrats and liberals... I send them links, I update them everyday, but because the MSM isn't covering it they think nothing is really happening.

Its all "conspiracy theories" or its been "debunked". I think we were really damaged by the stuff that hit the media last week regarding the Dixiecrat counties and the Cuyahoga numbers. I wish someone would concentrate on the FACTS when they cover it rather than the speculations. I feel like every damn article/editorial I see about this was written with straight up DU info.

5. The BBV people are too Naderic

Black Box Voting needs a press conference with some celebrities or prominent politicians, and must state definitively, "We believe the election was won by Kerry." Then cite facts that are microcasms of a much larger issue. For instance, the whole thing with the tapes in Florida is factual; someone posted a thread on DU listed precincts in Ohio that recorded no votes--that another fact. If they claimed these stories represent random examples, then they could go into greater detail.

The BBV people are failing in the same way Nader fails. They are not making this issue into a story. They are too caught up in the nuance. They are being very honest, but if they understood what the right knows so well--that winning is everything, they could have a major impact in this election.

and she was talking about the garbage find in FLA. She also stated that their goal is to find any voting irregularites so that we can hopefully fix them and not to reverse the results of the election.

I hope she was just being evasive and realizes how important this is to this country. We have a moment here to try to stop something before it goes too far.

This was always the problem with the good government (Nader) types. They find good issues, but they fight for their issues in very passive ways. It would be great if it worked, but it doesn't work except in small ways.

that her efforts alone are not meant to directly overturn the results of the election, but rather to make them officially invalid, and then it will be dealt with from there (like with a revote perhaps?).

11. I feel your pain, but...

Just look at this BBV and Volusia thing. Been there, done that in 2000! (Yes, same darn county - same darn problems. Almost the exact same precinct! What good did it do then? AND we had memos to Diebold, dumb quotes and suspect behavior.)

Anyway, as Bev Harris says, they're not trying to overturn an election here. They're trying to root out fraud. Get the system fixed. They plan to do that by holding the system accountable.

There is no rush here, so don't hold your breath. (Gotta get it right! Yep!)

Oh, but there will be a cool movie, "Votergate", at some point. Wonder if many here will care by the time that's all done.
