Exit Polls in Ohio

Men: 51-49 for Kerry
Women: 53-47 for Kerry

What else is there?

If Bush wins Ohio... its from a large turnout of the gender confused or ....

Diebold.

3. Or lawsuits.
Does anyone know what Josh Marshall and others are talking about when they mention the "legal situation" going on in Ohio?

9. I think it was inner-city precincts in Columbus.
Franklin County was the only really highly-populated county in Ohio, far as I know, that was using EV machines (not Diebold, for what it's worth, but Sequoias, which are apparently as bad). The machines, which have been bought within the past two years had an immense failure rate. Some precincts already had the machines down half an hour into voting today. Lines were down the street when the polls closed, and the polling judge appealed to the district court to get some paper voting machines in so they could get people processed ... the Ohio GOP didn't want them to, and went to the court to keep them from doing it. The court said 'let them vote on paper voting machines,' and they were still voting at 9:30 or so, but I have no doubt the GOP will appeal again. Because people should have to wait outside in 55 degree weather, 20 mph wind and rain showers just to vote, according to Ken Blackwell.

I'm getting my salt ready -- if I ever see him, I'm going to throw it on him and see if he dissolves like the slugs we used to throw salt on as a kid.

I guess this is probably what Josh Marshall is talking about, anyhow.

7. Hey I think I'd rather have chads than black boxes!!!!
At least you can teach people to really check their "hole" closely.
