Response from a New Jersey State Senator re: Verified Voting
Just received an E-Mail response:

Thank you for contacting me on a matter of mutual concern, namely
A3458/S2380, which would remove the requirement that voting machines
produce voter-verified paper records by January 1, 2009. Please know
that I voted against the measure yesterday when it came before me for a
full Senate vote. The measure was, in fact, defeated by a vote of
21-14.

Again, I appreciated hearing from you as to your opposition to the
legislation.

Sincerely,
Senator Tom Kean
New Jersey Senate Republicans

Well how about that, huh?
