This election will not be stolen!!

THIS ELECTION WILL NOT BE STOLEN
by Jennifer Hathaway

I’m an elections inspector. That’s right, I’m the mean old lady who sits on the other side of the table from you in her naugahyde dress, glaring through her horn rimmed glasses while you sign the book. Only I’m not that old, I’m usually in jeans, I don’t wear glasses, and I try hard not to glare. I’m mainly there to help the polling place run, as my mom has been doing for decades now. I can be a little bit mean though, given the right provocation.

Right now I'm feeling mean. My provocation comes from the fact that computerized voting machines with proprietary, flawed code have been imposed on the electorate across the country by Dieboldt, Sequoia, and their cronies in government, and the essential right of our citizenry is being completely suborned to a larger corporate agenda. This is about a wannabe oligarchy finally making us the serfs they think we should be. Not ok. Makes me feel pretty mean. Snarly, even.

According to the Election Defense Alliance article, “Landslide Denied”, the exit polls in the 2006 elections didn’t match up. At all. To the degree that if this were Ukraine, or Armenia, there would be UN elections monitors all over the place, and we’d all be marching in the street demanding a recount.

If this were Vegas, we’d be breaking knees by now.

snip . . . Here's a link to the article above:

http://www.electiondefensealliance.org/landslide_denied_exit_polls_vs_vote_count_2006

“What can we do, though?” I can almost hear the mewling of surrender while apathetic little yuppies settle into their armchairs with their chips and turn on some stupid soap opera or start to play WoW- you can do that AFTER November 4th- Gruul can wait! This is a much bigger monster. In my imagination these people remind me of all the reasons I’m happy my daughter is no longer 17! Another reason to feel mean!

Snap out of it, you silly wretches! HERE’S what you can do.

Exit polls and popular activism.

9. I read this today on Bradblog. Attorneys AWOL
The following report, of another Obama vote lost, comes from Nashville (Davidson County, TN), as did the similar one last week. ES&S iVotronic touch-screen voting machines failing again, harming Democrats each time. The same machines are failing in one county and state after another, are still in use, haven't been impounded, and voters still do not get to vote on paper ballots.

The "thousands of attorneys" from Obama and the DNC are still completely AWOL.

From the Tennessean...

Tracey Hudson's voting attempt at the Edmondson Pike Library ended with her in tears. The machine malfunctioned and didn't let her see the ballot, but a poll worker told she had voted.

"I was robbed," Hudson said Friday.
...
"I hit the button to go to the ballot and there was a flash," she said, adding that the screen went blank, then returned to the main menu. "I didn't see the ballot to actually choose anything."

She asked a poll worker for help, but the person insisted she had voted and told her to "move on." Hudson said she had been looking forward to voting for Barack Obama.

Have we mentioned that the "thousands of attorneys" from Obama and the DNC are still completely AWOL?

Quick links to our previous coverage, of similar incidents, in at least three other states, follows --- along with a quick list from experts about what you need to do (since Obama and the DNC apparently won't) when/if you have a similar problem with a touch-screen voting machine...

11. There appears to be only one Obama election fraud-busting attorney in Nashville ...
... and he's a lying sack of shit. I have made three reports to him of voters being denied their choices by ES&S machines, with him promising to call them right away. Yet here we are --- one week later --- and this POS hasn't called any of the voters whose numbers I gave him six days ago.

What a crock 'o shit.

7. That deluded little scumbag McShitstain is declaring that he'll have it wrapped up...
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he can “guarantee” a win on Nov. 4 in a squeaker victory that won’t be clear until late that night.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/14951

Makes me wonder if he's gotten commitments from ES&S(Diebold), Sequoia et al.

12. I agree with your basic premise.
If the votes are fairly counted, Democrats win ... in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and ...

The United States is a LIBERAL Country.

14. Sorry to be a doubting Thomasina...but..."It's the Enforcement, Stupid"
(not you, of course, Stevepol) If the laws are not enforced, then they are meaningless. If you overwhelm the polls with democratic votes and the county elections officials and Secretaries of State still call the results in favor of McCain, then you need enforcement of the laws to get recounts and to sue for an investigation into faulty proprietary code, and for an infinite number of other reasons that have plagued our elections to a ridiculous degree since 2000 at least.

Trying to get enforcement of the elections code and other civil code since 2004 has been pretty much an impossible task in LA County. The elections officials have all been trained to resist challenges in various ways. The judges all side with the elections officials. The elections officials have unlimited legal resources at their beck and call including the State AG to rebuff challenges. The citizens have to come up with their own resources.

I have yet to hear of any strategy this time around to overcome the obstacles we have been experiencing. Please prove me wrong!! And please tell me what's different about the GOTV lawyer strategy this time. Thanks!
