has anyone here ever heard of the freeman institute?
the republican lite challenger (funded by one of the swift boat money men.) to my good democratic alderman here in chicago has filed suit to nullify the recent run-off. not the whole election- just enough precincts to make him a winner.

he got help from something called the freeman institute. i saw their voter sheets, which they were using to challenge voters, and they all said freeman institute at the bottom. there is no phone listing for that in illinois. i googled, but there are a million freeman this and thats out there.
i don't think this guy had the ground troops to come up with all the challenges that they tried, although he did have a lot of support. i was told that the precinct that i judged had been written off, yet they had a long list of names. this clown had poll watchers up the wazoo, we listened to the challenges, and made decisions based on the evidence before us. he had his chance. he is full of shit if he thinks that every one of his challenges were legit. his game plan all along was to challenge and intimidate voters. i hope he is the one to end up in the shit.
so, anyone ever hear of such an organization in the election info biz?

but i am without a clue here. if anyone knows of any election work these guys have done, let me know. or anything like it.
and just to be clear, it was a non-partisan election. and there was much jockeying about who was the more progressive dem. but everytime this clown opened his mouth, ronald reagan doublespeak came out.

This Freeman Institute appears to be affiliated with the Moonies.
