What are we going to do about all the lost votes this Nov?
They're going to use every tactic in the book--not just hacking voting machines. What are we going to do whenever some district in Ohio claims that some good, honest worker just so happened to lose 100,000 votes? What are we going to do whenever a Secretary of State purges a million voters because their registration wasn't completed perfectly, and the "computer" kicks them off the roles?

Do we have some sort of a plan in place? Any way to combat the instances of sabotage masquerading as incompetence we are sure to see in 3 weeks?

1. Here is my plan
I became an election commissioner and am training to be commissioner in charge for the 7th.

I checked my registration and that of all my family who votes Dem to make sure it was correct. I encourage everyone to bring their ID to polls (required here). I call people to vote (can't drive them cause I have to be there at 5 a.m.)

I don't complain later, I prepare NOW.

2. Dean has been working to strengthen the infrastructure - it's a 4 year job
and he's trying to do it in less than 2.

It HAS to be better than what the last two Dem chairs did when they oversaw the collapse of the party infrastructures in every red and swing state since 1997. 2000 was bad, 2002 was even worse, and 2004 saw the worst election fraud imaginable.

3. Vote and volunteer to get the vote out. Do nothing to create apathy.
If votes are going to be stolen like you believe...then show up in numbers too big to ignore! There are many, many ways the GOPs steals votes. Apathy is one of them. So get out there and drive or knock on doors and get to that 35% of voters who have not bothered to show up to vote. And make sure there are enough machines in the poor neighbourhoods (if machines are their only choice by voting day).

Fight the good fight..with all of your might. Write a mission statement. Call all the people you know who you think may not vote..and promise to drive them to the polls. Take the day off work and monitor the exit pollsters outside your district.

We can do it. This time...we can do it. But only if people vote IN NUMBERS TOO BIG TO IGNORE!
