AZ resident needed for LTTE
to respond to the problems in this article from today (Sunday's) Arizona Star, (usually a good paper)
http://azstarnet.com/opinion/139872

In the Q&A section, the answers are all supplied by a pro-machine group.
1)They claim there is NO backdoor to the Diebold DRE's and there is no mention in the article about the lawsuits.
2) They claim that a "paper trail" is the same as a voter verified ballot(!)
but most important of all (at least to this gal):

They DO NOT ADDRESS the problems inherent in proprietary software!

A 1/2 way decent letter will probably be published, this is a good paper.

1. might PM some of the posters in the AZ forum for help
But I don't know why anyone couldn't send a letter to the Star. I've done it.
