So much for the TV Whimps.. but where the hell are Marshall, Drum & Kos
Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 05:51 AM by althecat
... please correct me if I am wrong but so far as i can see neither..

http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/

nor

http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/

nor

http://www.dailykos.com/ (main page not diaries... there it is unavoidable)

Have even drawn attention to the existence of the RFK Jnr article. Daily Kos I see has found it unavoidable in the user diaries.

It is one thing to have a lockdown on the networks and in the TV... but when Josh Marshall, Kevin Drum & Markos Moulitsas Zúniga - allegedly champions of liberal thought in the blogosphere cannot be bothered even reading an article by a leading Democratic party thinker published in one of the most respected print publications in the nation..... WTF!

It is time for these three to admit that they were wrong.... that something ugly did happen in November 2004 .... and that it does need to be talked about.

This is truly pathetic.

The pride of those who put themselves up as the speakers of truth to power when they find they are wrong but cannot admit it is a sad and pitiful thing to watch...

peace out

Al

1. I also wonder about one of the the sole non-wimps on TV, Olbermann.
I wish he'd address Kennedy's article.
Yes, the silence is deafening.

2. I believe KO's silence is telling-as in news blackout. Each network did a
little coverage (Wolfie and Bow Boy) but there was no real discussion. I also wonder why members of the CBC have not come out strongly on the issue. The Dems don't want to look bad, the repug don't want to look guilty.
