7. If he is a good guy
Then he was forced to resign.

Who knows, maybe he is the guy who MCM says is gonna spill the beans next month?

11. Given the upcoming e-voting train wreck a reasonable person
could very easily decide to leave. The dread of the same would make one long for one's family...

3. Soon to be replaced by a ruthless sociopath?
If he's as reasonable a person as VTUSA paints him to be, he should have stayed.
This is a very disturbing trend -- rational people resigning from positions where they could possibly influence policy.

6. But check this out:
(His) solutions put most of the onus for improving the credibility of national and local elections on election administrators and the vendors who serve them.

Sounds like a pretty good guy. I'm wondering if he was pressured into resigning.

10. I know some election activists in Princeton NJ
real good peeps. Including Rebeca Mercuri. These are the folks who grilled Martinez.

Irene Goldman is Chairman of the Coalition for Peace Action. I emailed her asking WTF happened in Princeton. Turns out she was in DC to Lobby, she said she will get back to me....

If Rebecca was in the group that grilled Martinez, then I think Rebecca may have had something to do with Martinez quiting, she is remarkable, and could have that effect.

When We were fighting the Sequoia Advanatge purchase here in Essex county, (NOrth NJ) Rebecca came up and testified for 20 minutes. She was Hell fire and brimstone. 100 people in the Chambers went nuts, they screamed, they cheered, they were asked to keep quit and they wouldnt, she is a very powerfull speaker, and her academic creds may be 2nd to none. Her PHD is in Computerized voting machines.

Stephany Harris is a member of the Coalition for Peace Action, and is the plaintiff in the NJ law suit against DREs. Folks down in Princeton NJ are some fire breathing MoFo's.
