Cleveland Election Workers Workers accused of fudging ’04 recount
Edited on Thu Apr-06-06 02:43 PM by autorank
me b zolajust clued me into a post in GD by debbierlus in GD. It's worth recommending that one and this as well.

We all knew the recount was screwed up. Now we know it was deliberate, with foreknowledge, and motivated by sloth. Thanks prosecutor Baxter. What's the punishment for stealing democracy, trampling on the state and national constitution, denying the will of the people?

ONE MORE REASON TO KNOW, * I8 ILLEGITIMATE. RESIGN, TAKE ALL YOUR JUDGES WITH YOU!!!

Workers accused of fudging ’04 recount

Prosecutor says Cuyahoga skirted rules

Thursday, April 06, 2006
Joan Mazzolini
Plain Dealer Reporter

After the 2004 presidential election, Cuyahoga County election workers secretly skirted rules designed to make sure all votes were counted correctly, a special prosecutor charges.

<snip>

Michael Vu, executive director of the Cuyahoga County elections board, said workers followed procedures that had been in place for 23 years. He said board employees had no objection to doing an exhaustive hand count if needed, meaning they had no motive to break the law.

Internet bloggers have cried foul since 2004 about election results in Ohio, one of the key states in deciding the election. They have been tracking Baxter's investigation with online posts about the indictments.

Baxter charges that Cuyahoga election workers - mindful of the monthlong Florida recount in 2000 - not only ignored the safeguards but worked to defeat them during Ohio's 2004 recount.

HOW KERRY WON OHIO BY 51-48%...

Edited on Fri Apr-29-05 10:37 PM by TruthIsAll

Well, by winning the majority of virtually every
demographic...
The RBRs must have stayed home.

If you believe the Exit Poll, Kerry won OH by 160,000 votes.
If you believe the Vote, Bush won by 119,000 votes.

If Kerry won this solid Republican state by 51-48%, you just
KNOW he had to do 1-2% better nationally.

Which means he won the election by 6-8 million votes.

5. Hey to you too!!!
I actually linked to GD above but I was too cute by 1/2...it's embedded in the initials.

Thanks so much for the heads up.

Baxter is right, we are watching. There was a story about this in Elections when he got the job.

I researched him on the net. He's clean. Only problem is a brother who keeps suing him...craxy stuff...the guy is honest.

Cheers
