1. Bowen is quite savvy on voting rights and election transparency issues.

A very smart woman. Running for CA Secretary of State. See www.debrabowen.com. She is currently leading an effort in the state legislature for emergency legislation to permit the counties to do all mail-in elections this June, because the Diebold election theft machines that they have purchased have not been certified. All mail-in may not be the ultimate answer, but it is far, far better than using Diebold machines. It is a good temporary solution. Next, we have to get rid of "trade secret," proprietary programming code in all the electronic voting systems (including the central tabulators), and end the corporate privatization of our elections!
