Time to face facts...
Florida is going for Bush...
They are 85% done counting, and we are down 275,000.

Ohio, on the other hand, looks pretty good. Cuyahoga is just beginning to report, and we are 100,000 votes down... As it stands now, Kerry will pick up almost 200,000 votes if the current trends continue.

We will win PA... and if we can pull out Ohio, then we definitely are still in this thing.

5. Can ANYONE confirm if early voting is tallied or not?
I can't find this ANYWHERE, but I thought early votes are tallied LAST. My friend thinks this is right also, but we can't find confirmation.

13. What about the absentee ballots
that weren't even mailed out until a few days ago in Florida. That'll have an impact won't it. I thought it was around 100,000 ballots or so.

7. 85% of what?
Let me guess, precincts. So do you think the most populous precincts have miraculously reported their vote counts before the less populous, rural precincts.

10. Yes, I see Kerry winning Ohio.
Cleveland will put him over the top.

Florida is likely gone, probably because shrub won a lot more Jewish votes this time around.

Of course we have PA in the bag, so it will come down to the Midwest and Joe Lockhart is saying Kerry will hold the midwest states.

Ohio is the key state, it gives Kerry a margin for error.

Is that a fact about the early votes? I can't get a straight answer on that one. I knew it was about the absentee.

optimistic about Ohio? Bush is up by five percentage points. Also, Michigan is NOT coming in very good.

I don't like the fact that ALL the flipping exit polls seem to be way off . . .

Tell me how we're gonna win Ohio. Please!

There, I said it. Does it mean dilly? No, but, nothing has been certified, verified, spindled and mutilated yet. Don't count your hatches before they are two in the bush.

22. I know--I'm not buying this. Flipping Ohio is showing Bush up by
FIVE and the exit poll showed Kerry by FOUR. That's a net swing of NINE. That isn't possible without somebody fucking up big time--either the pollsters or the black box voting. Something is very wrong.

And you folks who keep saying, "all the votes haven't been counted yet." Hey, take a statistics class. When you've got 44 percent of precincts counted and your guy is down by five, you're toast.

The only thing that could possibly pull out Ohio is if big Dem areas for some reason haven't reported yet. But it sounds like Cleveland is already in.

I wanna believe but this is turning around on us, and it's not pretty.
