the thing with Bev Harris where he hacked the voting machine for demonstration, that was BEFORE the election -- right?

my memory is failing, but it seems that after the 2004 election there was talk about how the Kerry campaign (insiders?) http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=203&topic_id=68962">didn't want to examine election fraud; no how, no way. the tone of the posts suggested that some dems where knowledgeable prior to election day.

at the time i didn't put 2 and 2 together. i came up with 3.5. to get to 4 was too ugly to think about. but WHAT IF there are dems within the the party who don't want the security issues examined? What does that mean? where does that take you?

I felt his answer was a little guarded. But he said we need to elect good secretaries of state and need to get involved in the election process at every level. And if I remember right he went on to talk about the 50 state project.
