Product Manager/Election Services: look at highlighted job description!
The Associated Press seeks Product Manager for its New York City Office. AP is positioned as the market leader in election information services for broadcasters, newspapers and online. AP’s election products include vote tabulation, analysis, online content (text, audio, video, graphics, & photos), web site hosting and numerous data feeds. The product manager will be responsible for product definitions, pricing, market intelligence and competitive positioning as well as continued market leadership of all election products. The product manager will work closely with:

· Customers to determine needs and opportunities

· Sales and marketing teams in broadcast, newspapers and digital to assess market opportunities, establish consistent pricing for regular and premium election products drive marketing efforts and product positioning and assure customer satisfaction with election products.

· Editorial to assure that content matches business needs

· Technology to match development to product and market needs.

· Business units to target new election products for AP’s three marketing channels and enhance existing products.

The product manager will be responsible for the operating and capital budgets relating to election products and services and the election product line P&L. The product manager/elections must become intimately familiar with the historical, current and future market for election news and results in the United States, across all platforms – broadcast, digital and print - and must understand AP’s role in serving that multimedia market. The product manager must develop a deep understanding of current customer election needs, including their cyclicality, and anticipate future trends, needs and market opportunities, especially opportunities with digital media, both online and wireless. The product manager will be directly responsible for AP’s custom election service for broadcast networks and work closely with broadcast sales and marketing executives to maintain and grow that business.

If that means what I think it means(and I'm fairly proficient in English), manipulate data to get DESIRED results.
