3. there is no indication that the Advantage is 2002 certified
The NJ AG has not provided us with any documentation except----

"Sequoia told us it had 2002 certs"-- irrespective of what was posted recently @ NASED

And the is no VVPR printer available at this time-- nor is there likely to be- ever

4. So does it violate Joyzy law, or WHAT?
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 01:06 AM by Bill Bored
I thought you must have VVPATs there.

"The machines, however, will be retrofitted so that a paper receipt is kept inside each machine after every vote is cast. The state mandates that voting machines produce paper records by 2008."

2008? What kind of idiotic law is that?

11. Well, I hate to say it, but the first thing you guys need is a better law.
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 10:01 PM by Bill Bored
2008 is way too long to wait for VVPAT, and without auditing, it's useless, and without a recount law, auditing may be useless too.

It all depends on the numbers but surely, your legislature can come up with something better than this?
