Anybody out there have some time available for a specific project?
I have a few projects I could use help with, all on the subject of getting back fair elections.

If you find yourself reading the boards and wishing you could do something more useful, I can help you get rolling. Post here or PM me.

Projects include:
Help finding ways to reach specific famous people;
Researching an organization;
Contacting election reform groups about getting involved in a specific project;
Publicizing the solarbus.org volunteer page to folks who might want to volunteer.

If you want to be more involved and haven't found your niche, write something about yourself here and let's see if we can match you up with just the right project!

1. Great Idea...
Why not post ideas?

More people read a thread than respond to it...
Therefore one can assume greater exposure...

2. The ideas will come
I'll post ideas in response to what people write specifically. I'm also looking for help with some of my projects.

Some of my ideas would work better if they weren't public before being taken on, so I'm being a bit circumspect at this point.

3. Idea: Help fired whistleblower Sherole Eaton find a job...
If we want people to come forward and tell what they know, we need to back them when they do. Eaton was just fired from the Hocking Co. Board of Elections, apparently in retaliation for coming forward to reveal that Triad GSI had access to the Hocking County computer just before the so-called recount.

I think we could find her a new job. The first step is to see if she wants that help.

For more information, see this DU thread:

Post #14 on that thread has a link to an article about Eaton's firing, which has already occurred.

If you want to pursue this, please say so. In the early stages of this project, it would be best if only one or two people are working on it. Once we know if she'd like our help, everyone can pitch in.
