Florida Miami-Dade Voter Intimidation Bush supporters are breaking the 50 foot line law leading to intimidation of voters. Florida Miami-Dade Voter Intimidation Violation of 50 foot line rule. Bush Creole speaker volunteer to help Haitian voters. Florida Miami-Dade Voter Intimidation }We would like to register a complaint regarding the Miami City Hall early voting polling location as a result of President Bushe's visit which took place at City Hall just prior to the polls opening; police officers stopped me from gaining access to the voting place without driving approximately 1 mile away. The scene in front of the polling place was unfairly intimidating to anyone who is not pro-Bush. This is not a partisan complaint as I am a Republican." Florida Miami-Dade Voter Intimidation Bush/Cheyney workers were walking in & out of polling place & standing next to voters in a group. There were 6-10 of the workers. A voter approached me & my co-worker very upset & she filled out the complaint with this form. Arizona Navajo County Voter Intimidation Friend was not allowed to vote b/c had Kerry hat on - what is basis for poll monitor to not allow them to vote until partisan gear is removed? California San Mateo Voter Intimidation APFA union rep. told him if he didn't vote for Kerry, he would be fired. Thinks he was from union national headquarters. South Dakota Lawrence County Voter Intimidation Voter was standing outside poll wearing anti-Bush t-shirt "Impeach Bush" (took off buttons). A couple of older gentlemen told the voter not to wear the t-shirt and exchanged "unfavorable words." Was told at the poll to turn shirt inside out before voting. Voter did this and got ballot, voted, and laid on stack when finished. Not sure if ballot was counted but no reason to believe ballot was not counted. Quite a few folks there but no one else had any shirts or buttons so can't tell if discrimated against. The poll workers were apparently very polite about it all. Virginia Faquier Voter Intimidation Polling place was county office and had pictures of Bush and Cheney(autographed) directly above voting booth. Florida Indiana River County Voter Intimidation The man was walking down the street when he ran into a group of Bush supporters. He shouted Go KErry and one of the group put a gun to his head. He reported this to the gentleman who called at the Kerry Campaign HQ. Apparently later the same man was travelling home and he passed this same group of people who shouted that they would kill him. This was after he had reported the prior incident to the police and presumably the group had found out about it. {cr}{newline}The man who threatened the caller's friend with a gun was 52 years old. Florida Vero Beach Voter Intimidation Caller described an incident in which an 18-y-o Democrat male was driving past a main intersection where several Bush demonstrators were. The driver shouted, "Go Kerry," and was subsequently verbally assaulted by one of the demonstrators, and then another demonstrator pulled a gun on him. According to caller, this has been reported in the media inaccurately. The man who pulled the gun was arrested and charged wtih aggravated assault, but then released on his own recognizance. Caller wants to know if we have lawyers who can counsel the 18-y-o in connection with this incident. Florida Sarasota Voter Intimidation Elderly woman voted early. She said that poll workers who were helping primarily Hatian voters with the voting machines were accused by "Republican Lawyers" of soliciting votes for Kerry. She did say that some confusion may have resulted from language differences with the lawyers not understanding what was being said. She did say that some people walked away without voting. Ohio Jawa Voter Intimidation Voters were wearing Bush 04 T-Shirts. Also, lawyers were asking poll workers for list of everyone who voted in order to challenge them. Florida Palm Beach County Voter Intimidation KKK literature being placed on the cars with Kerry/Edwards stickers in the parking lot of the polling station. Michigan Wayne Voter Intimidation At the Drew Middle School (9600 Wyoming 48204) a child reported to caller (his teacher) that "Bush sent a bad letter to" the child's family. Then after getting through the gang of boys, she was approached by a middle aged woman even closer to the polling place entrance who was impersonating a poll worker who also lectured the female about how she should vote for the current president. These people are breaking the VA law that says that voters are allowed to wait up to 40 feet outside of a polling place without anyone attempting to influence their vote. 2. You are of course right. But, we know that. |
And we also know that he could have won - even with Rove and Diebold running Ohio and Florida - with a better campaign. Won't get into that here, but I, like you, am pissed. Never again. At least, AARP has taken out the Swift Boat Assholes, who overreached. There's a listen there.
