1. FogerRox, could you
get a similar report on contributions to Kerry? It would only be fair to show both. If you can get it I'll add it to the page.

Gary

2. why did so many people donate on the same day?
Very strange, but if you look at the dates, there were a lot of contributions made on 6/26 and 8/27. Makes you wonder.

Too bad FOIA doesn't apply to diebold. I could see filing a request for all internal emails on those days.

8. CEO Wally O'Dell
hosted a few $1K or $2K a plate fundraisers. Those dates probably correspond with his "parties". Remember the "dedicated to deliver Ohio's electoral votes to bush" invitation letter?

14. yeah, and did you also notice that he has two contributions
a $4000 and a ($2000)

I was wondering if the $4000 was over the limit and he had to take back $2000 of it.

that would amount to an illegal campaign contribution. sure he took it back, but it's worth noting in Wally Odell's biography...

15. FOIA should apply to all voting machine companies. Land Shark says
if they are gonna act in the capacity of a government function they have to abide by the rules by which the government has to abide. Or used to have to abide, before they became a law unto themselves.

17. then how can they
hide behind the "proprietary" shield?

has anyone filed an FOIA request for the source code? rather than asking Diebold directly, going through an FOIA request might have different results. unlikely but it's worth a shot?

20. This is kinda what Land Shark's lawsuit is based upon, among other things.
He filed under public disclosure to get info on Sequoia and got turned down. So he says if they are going to act in the capacity of a gov function they have to abide by those rules.

5. WOWZA, I just updated the page to include Kerry contributions
check it out:

http://www.solarbus.org/election/articles/0330-diebold-bush.shtml

I hope TIA or another statistician can give us the probability that this would happen by random chance.

11. Is Diebold Investment a completely different company?
if so, that would mean ZERO diebold execs contributed to JK.

6. Wow! Thanks for the info...
Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 11:37 AM by tex-wyo-dem
So if these are individuals in the company making INDIVIDUAL contributions, then what's the probablity that all except one would donate to the same political party? Furthermore, what's the probability that so many of these individuals would donate on the same dates?

updated for clarification...

Thanx Gary and FogerRox.

As far as the dates go, I bet they correlate to Diebold monies being distributed to top execs just to donate....

OR

Repug soft monies being handed out.

OR

The 8.5 billion in missing Iraq funds has finally come home 8)

(Edited for spelling)

10. I guess I hadn't thought of that...
that maybe the money was actually GIVEN to them with the purpose of donating. what a major revelation that would be if it could be proven.

as they always say, follow the money.

I wish we could use FOIA requests to get all their emails for 6/26 and 8/27.

subpoena would do it -- I wonder if Cliff, Bob F., Bonifaz, etc have looked into this.

13. of course we're not surprised
but it's good to have the data to back up your claim when you're talking about it to others.

and that's what this whole thing is about now - getting the word out. If we can get the people to wake up about the reality of election fraud, we have hope. we can still do recounts in most places, but we need bodies.

I think if you show that list to someone and say, look this is the company that counted about half the votes in the last election, you can raise some eyebrows.
