My tinfoil hat theory: Bush gave the signal.
For some reason, I can't get it out of my mind
that Bush gave some sort of code signal during his
impromptu press meeting (which was unusual) when the elections
were in process. I have a feeling there was some sort
of code word or gesture to allow "special treatment" to
be given to voting totals in certain states. Perhaps
even having the meeting at all was the "go ahead signal".

I think something like this was necessary because why
fraud the vote if Bush was going to win? However, when
the polls were going for Kerry, I think they needed both
a way to coordinate and a greenlight to say "let's do this". Bush
gave that signal.

I know it sounds crazy but there was a certain look of guilt
on Bush's face that I've only seen one other time - reading
"My pet goat" after the second plane hit. You can read the
pain and guilt he was having then, and I definitely saw
it during the clip of him on election night.

I am the last to buy in to tinfoil theories, but I am really
starting to believe that mass fraud occurred.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

1. When W has fake campaign stops, with the same crowd bused over and
over, why not accept that the election was supposed to me phoney from the get go?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3987237.stm

Early exit polls quoted by media seemed to give Mr Kerry the edge, but colleagues said Mr Rove indicated right away that they did not tally with his information.

He used his own data to put Ohio and Florida in the Bush column - bringing cheers from the president and his family when he went into the Roosevelt Room and told them

2. I think Dan Rather was pre-empted - he got set-up
so that 60 Minutes would not do a vote fraud story.

4. Absolutely. Most people I talk to, think so.

And it wasn't Bush. It was his surrounding team. Rove wasn't getting or giving a concession speech on that phone. He was busy telling certain people to get prepared to connect up their special modems. A crooked tally here, a skipped decimal point there.
The tipoff is the need for no paper trail. Just like the need for no 911 commission. Same results, same guilty look.
They will lose. That is the good news. If not here, then somewhere else. Hell.

EDIT- Oh, I forgot to say that I could be wrong...

But I could be right.

5. All I know is he pulled the same stunt in 2000
As soon as I saw his impromptu address/press farce this time around I said "Oh shit here we go again" and went to bed.

I knew it was over... because it was a freaking replay of what I had sat through four years earlier.

I don't think your theory is tin foil hat...I think that very well may have been the signal to Faux news to declare Ohio to Bush
(which they did)

12. I thought the same thing and even posted on it the day after
the election re: Bush's impromptu television appearance. There was something about the look in his face that made me think "he's mocking us, he's done it again".

6. Someone gave the signal. My bets on KKKarl.
But I have a tendency to underestimate the Idiot in Chief. I have a hard time believing that is handlers would trust him not to fuck up the signal. Although the press meeting itself, being so unusual, could have been the signal.

7. It makes sense to me
They wouldn't have wanted fraud if they were going to win it anyway.

I agree that his face is a give-away, also.

8. You give Bush way too much credit
Bush is in control of nothing. The guy is an idiot. Rove et al call all the shots. Not Bush.

Anybody that can pull off Bin Laden putting out a video as Rove did the weekend before the election is the person in complete control of the election. (I would love to know what the deal was that was cut to get OBL to do the video.)

This election was a done deal when Congress passed the election reform law. Bush just held on for the ride.

11. Actually I KNEW it was stolen when they reported that Jeb called George..
He called Bush EARLY on during the Florida results to "give him the good news" that DEMOCRATIC counties in Florida were going overwhelmingly for Bush. It was a press event, and Jeb and George MADE SURE it was reported... THAT, to me, was the moment I KNEW we had 2000 all over again.

Think about it.. as some people here are saying that those counties were "dixicrats" (I'm really hating that term more than security mom), then it would be NO SURPRISE OR NEWS EVENT that they went to BUSH!!!! Does that make sense? Why would that be so newsworthy if those counties went to Bush, if they ALWAYS vote republican?

Something stinks in Florida, and it ain't Jeb's underwear.
