Funny... Rush, Drudge aren't talking about this...
They're hyping *'s win, but not a mention about possible fraud, uncounted ballots, missing ballots and too many voters per precinct. I'd think they and others would be salivating to make fun of all this blog rumble about these questions. Why aren't they poking fun at us at every turn? What are they afraid of? Are they scared $#%&-less that by brining it up they might inadvertantly make it a bigger story? Or do they know the truth and how damaging it might be to *'s "win."

1. They won't mention it until it hits a major news outlet.
And then they'll talk about how "all this nonsense came from people on the internet". And since Rush' core audience doesn't have access to the internet (or know how to spell internet), they'll scoff and instantly KNOW it's all wrong.

4. That is odd. Before the election I heard Boortz
warn his listeners that Democrats would scream "Fraud!" if Bush won, no matter what. At the time it struck me as the type of comment you make when you know fraud is coming, and are trying to convince your people to ignore it. It was the first hint I had that something was up.

If Rush isn't all over it ridiculing Democrats, then he's trying to get people to look in the other direction for a reason. He lives to ridicule people, especially liberals.

Fat, lying, drug-addicted, blackmailing, baby killing fraud that he is.

9. They are waiting to find "Democratic examples of fraud" for a foil...
Edited on Tue Nov-09-04 11:18 AM by Dr Fate
...and if they dont find them- they will create them.

Trust me- as soon as they drum up one or two Democratic examples (no matter how weak) to cast doubt, they will start discussing it- so will the rest of the Liberal media...

10. "They won't mention it until it hits a major news outlet."
and hopefully, as election supervisors/diebold employees are marched to the paddywagon with raincoats over their heads, it'll be too late for 'em.

11. I went over to FREEPERland to see how they are reacting to us
They aren't talking about this at all. They must not be monitoring DU anymore - so caught up in their own self-back-patting.

Good, the bigger the shock the better for those monkeys!

15. No, they are.
There was a thread about the KOlbermann's show and the fraud case. Typical bad mouthing of Keith and us DUers. They don't discuss all the different fraud that took place....just their hatred.

13. You are so right.
The right wing media pundits make fun of us at every turn. We're good material to them. Why aren't they yukking it up? "Look at what those tinfoil-hatters at DU are doing? They so CWAZY! Funny funny tinfoil hatters!"

It's because they're scared... they don't want to bring it up at all.

14. Of course! It's all part of the Psy-Ops
Solidify the concept of Bush victory in people's minds to build up resistance if there ever is a challenge to the voting results. Rove is a master at this.

17. In bad business circles....
one hand generally doesn't know what the other hand is doing.

They are stereotypically incompentent.

If there is something to this....it would be revealed by simply taking a machine and reverse engineering the software. Why doesn't someone demand that?

Or else someone will come forward and break the story.

People don't know how bad it is in general....wasn't Y2K enough?
Our systems are pathetic...our systems level management is horrible.

Here we are in the new millenium and I think it's a crime they don't have true backup systems in automotive electronics.

There's so much garbage engineering out there...it is entirely possible that this is by virtue of sheer incompetence. I have no way of proving this...but I've heard from a programmer that he heard from a reliable source that the code was really poor....crap spagetti code that may be a simple indication of someone wanting to make a whole lot of money off this scheme...but didn't have even a decent software developer involved.
