Bumper sticker harrassment in Denver.
Could this happen to you?

<snip>

A Denver police sergeant is under investigation for allegedly threatening to arrest a woman Monday for displaying on her truck a derogatory bumper sticker about President Bush.

1. Hey what's up?
I thought these pugs were terrified of Liberals and Exit Poll workers!

Darn another myth bites the dust.

3. If it actually spelled out the word, that's against the law in
many places and in fact, I would consider it to be in extremely bad taste and not too good for children to see. However, if it merely
was printed "F---, that's different. Then the issue becomes political.

5. Bad taste, but not illegal:
"Colorado ACLU Legal Director Mark Silverstein said that the alleged threat of arrest clearly violates First Amendment protection. "

6. If there are no profanity laws prohibiting the use of the word
you are correct. In many places in the U.S. it's illegal to use that level of profanity in the spoken word, let alone a bumper sticker.

7. yes, because everyone knows a dirty word
is so much more offensive than killing at least as equal number of Iraqi citizens as Hussein, and much worse than training and selling arms to terrorists so they can fight the Soviets, then being surprised when they turn on us.

Shame on that woman's dirty word. :eyes:
