they buy up all the domain names that people might use.

Verizon bought several hundred domain names a few years back. Things like verizonsucks.com, etc.

sure, they registered variations on their name, but Verizon took that to new heights, and were forced to do so in the first place by their own cruddy business practices.

They must have sat around and brainstormed with a reality filter what they could reasonably expect of bush in the 2004 election.

Holy crap, these people are unbelievable. I just checked, and they even registered weknowyoustoleit.com (we know you stole it dot com)

I wonder how many useless domains they own, with the same names but different domains, with hyphens, et cetera. And I wonder what it costs them.

Doesn't matter. They'll never own Democratic Underground, they'll never own us.

Buzzflash, DU, BBV & Ironic Times? What sense does that make? For a page under construction it has a hell of lot of HTML coding.

Anyone know more than my basic HTML to see if there's anything suspicious in the coding for the page?

Just curious

67. i've created a few pages in HTML (years ago) -- and have created
pages with frontpage and Dreamweaver templates. I'm thinking this is template code -- though I do not know what the beginning letters in the code brackets mean -- for example:

<b:Ohlinfo>668</b:Ohlinfo>

Is this one registered under the RNP too, or is it a regular user?

page with Microsoft Publisher which comes with Office. Yesterday the images were there, today they are 404ing. So someone removed the image files between today and yesterday. Also the text was an image so now the page looks like nothing.

Registering site domains like bushsucks.com and so forth, to prevent anyone else from getting them. There's nothing illegal about it, though it is slimy as hell.

Probably just a nice pre-emptive strike to take away easy to remember domain names. Figures.

43. FULL STORY: Networking firm confirms...
http://www.bluelemur.com/index.php?p=571

GOP ‘registered BushCheated.com in 2003′

The Republican National Committee apparently paid a Virginia networking firm to buy BushCheated.com on their behalf, RAW STORY has learned.

A representative for Network Solutions, LLC confirmed that they registered sites for the Republican National Committee. When asked if they registered BushCheated.com on behalf of the party, she said, “Yeah, then we probably did.”

A spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee declined to comment and said they would return the call.

The domain, which has no content, was likely registered to prevent others from setting up a website at the address.

50. I can understand bushsucks.com, etc.
but why did they register bushcheated.com unless they knew they were going to cheat and wanted to buy up the potential websites. This seems like circumstantial evidence that they were planning to steal the election for quite some time.

This may not be the smoking gun, but there are definately gunpowder traces in the room!

52. What an edifice is the law!
There is so much of a common-sense implication that these guys cheated that it makes it painfully obvious how large is the shadow our Law casts, a shadow within which all the experienced dregs know exactly how to hide.

Take the GE CEO (I think?) for example, who said recently on the Today show (cf. a recent John Stewart airing), "I know of no evidence which implicates our guilt," when asked if they committed a crime. Not, "No, we committed no crime," but, instead, the ubiquitous legalist denial.

Our society is a piece of shit. Our people are good, but the connecting structure of our people sucks. And it is not the Constitution that is at fault. That is the only thing protecting us right now, & it is being strectched to its limits.

What sickens me is that I have to choose between financing this corrupt piece-of-shit adminsitration by paying my taxes or going to jail, being butt-raped, & receiving the AIDS virus. Talk about cruel & unusual punishment! I guess I could move abroad, but that seems so pussilanimous.

Here is something else to think about: Why did Ross Perot run in both the 1992 & 1996 elections? Think about how much good he did for our country on accident(?) by basically transferring the presidency from Bush I to Clinton. Now ask yourself why we see no third party candidates in the major debates. How much proof do you need that the corporations are usurping our country? STOP THEM! Use your dollars carefully. Open a European bank account, or better, accounts, with holdings in both Euros & Swiss dollars. Look at the past inflation rates of the two compared to our American dollars, & you'll see how heavy is the hidden tax of transacting in USA dollars. We are being pressed as a society to thwart our spending & to begin saving, so make wise decisions & save in the safe assets of abroad (which become better the longer we have pathetic leaders).

The greedy can shape our votes to whatever carving they like, but our dollars, ahh!! what they really crave, our dollars we can give to whomever we choose. Pay more for 'good' products, for the reason the 'bad' products are cheaper is that they are financed by our tax dollars. Pay them not twice. (Note: here 'good' & 'bad' refer to the integrity of the sellers, not the quality of the products.)

Good-bye, my friends. And follow your independent, thinking, rational minds to the tune of their own logic & the song of their own conclusions, &, of course, use any above advice only as a guide.

57. Now just why in the world would they
have registered this domain in APRIL OF 2003?

No way they could have predicted that us Democrats would be claiming that he cheated back then, unless they were planing to cheat back then. No Way!!!

If they registered to keep someone else from getting it, then it would have just been registered sometime after the election correct?

62. Can't read too much into it, IMHO.
Look, we know the election isn't the only thing * ever cheated at.
Maybe they were thinking National Guard, getting out of Viet Nam, Harkin Energy, Texas Rangers, etc.

What else was in the news in whatever month it was in 2003?

69. And the question IS 'which' Bush cheated? Poppy, Neil, Jeb?
There are so many. For instance, Jeb's re-election was in 2002. So an April 2003 Registration may be relevant. When in 2003 did Kerry announce his plans to Run? (Given JK's record of prosecuting the Bushs,' that may've triggered some Fraud accusations after the Election.) Also, since they cheated in 2000, and 2002, then certainly they knew ahead of time they'd be cheating in 2004...and that THIS time the public would not accept a Bush Presidential win as easily as in 2000.

But whatever the reasons, this is just a microcosm of the larger pattern of how good they play the game, how far ahead and broadly they "look" and plan. We should note it well, and learn.
