The Fraud is likely real
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 12:07 AM by Bush was AWOL
I say that as one who thought they won fairly until tonight.

A local guy (Radio Host on Clear Channel Sunday Nights before Drudge) in Columbus, who happens to be a Republican but is somewhat anti-Bush/Iraq war, feels that something fishy went on and the truth will eventually be known.

He went down the list of state results where the exit polls matched the actual results. He also thought it was ironic how the states with a paper trail had results that reflected what the exit polls showed. He then went down the states without a paper trail and mentioned how they didn't match up to the exit polls at all. He said it's one thing for them to miss by a 2 or 3 points, but 5-8 points is a totally different animal.

I take this guys serious because he's someone who doesn't even like Kerry, so he doesn't have any sort of favoritism that he'd show towards Kerry.

Lastly, this guy is not a conspiracy kind of guy, but he seems to be sold that something very, very strange went on with the machines, and feels that eventually the truth will be told.

I've yet to spend any time whatsoever looking into fraud or reading stories about fraud cause I thought some people were just being sore losers. It's time to go full court press with this. I'm pretty convinced this shit was stolen in Ohio and Florida.

2. Welcome to the fight
Look I know how it is so easy to dismiss it... quite frankly if I had not been follwing BBV for over two years I would have had the same reaction: Sore loosers.

But I have been follwoing it...

One more thing, if youru friend thinks this... not only we are not off base but we may have a base to build upon when this comes out... it will be larger than watergate I suspect, and I sincerely hope before January 20th, teh longer this takes to come out the more traumatic it will be.

4. Look at it this way:
There are truly good people in the Repug party too. They have principles. They can recognize the threat this sort of thing can entail to our country.

Expect others like him. Not all have eaten the lotuses and are now surely aghast at the ongoing spectacle.

5. I imagine there are plenty of Republicans who believe in fair play and
want to win it the right way or not at all. We are just so used to the other, rabid types. If this fraud shit does somehow miraculously gain traction, it will be probably be due to decent Republicans stepping up.

And such a compliment to DUers and so many others around the country that you had to have a Repug enlighten you instead of listening to us. But nevermind.

URGENT: VOTE FRAUD? Tell everyone you know -- details
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x1337662

Edited: Okay, now that I've gotten the snarkiness out of my system  I have to say this: I sincrely hope you're not only willing to join the fray but also enlist him. He needn't necessarily go public, but that would be a terrific option if he has a radio show of his own. The link above has a large collection of threads posted to DU on the subject -- I strongly encourage you to check out some of them AND to share them with your friend (uh, all your friends/family/etc.)

It's just not enough to "believe" that "the truth will come out." All of us who care about democracy AT ALL, WHATSOEVER have to be part of the effort here, ya know? However small our contribution, we HAVE to be part of the effort.

12. I'm not a conspiracy type of guy
I'm sorry, but he presented pretty hard evidence that it was stolen in Ohio.

The guy works for clear channel and is not someone to start conspiracy theories.

I was shocked about what I was hearing and how much time he spent on it.

17. My dear man
And I say this will as much gentle consideration as I can muster:

I was not a "conspiracy type of gal" either, once upon a time, altho I did always understand, since at least the mid-1960s, that the CIA was in the business of overthrowing governments around the world and other related nefarious stuff. But that's just fact.

HOWEVER, the education I've acquired since I came here to DU (when membership was at about 12,000 and growing), has made me understand that it is NEVER a good idea to dismiss any so-called "conspiracy" out of hand. One doesn't have to buy into it, esp. not right away -- just don't automatically dismiss it until you've had a chance to examine some of the supporting documentation and "evidence" (however circumstantial) yourself. Further, where government and/or corporations are concerned, best to just go ahead and suspect the worst rather than give them the benefit of the doubt. You'll automatically be closer to the truth on whatever subject it is. Really.

There, now are you ready for your own supply of tinfoil?

30. There's always freedom of choice in CT's.
The folks who like to disparage some tin-foil hat types usually go with the 'Official' CT instead. In election fraud redux 2004, the OCT types will always be saying the exit polls were faulty, the republicans did a better job with a better candidate (with his folksy charm and hi-tech hidden earpiece), the media failed to see the importance of the 'morality' issues.. . and those long long lines of poor and young voters were actually standing there for hours to vote for a president who will take away the safety net, destroy social security, send them and their children to immmoral unplanned and illegal wars until the country is universally hated and bankrupt beyond belief or repair. Well, that's (another) OCT I find impossible to credit. I have more faith in the human race and my fellow Americans than that, even now, despite or because of the past four years.

11. I Believed After Watching The ES&S Voting Machines In Dallas, TX
Make errors during early voting.

I saw four errors were a voter chose a straight Dem ticket and got repubs on the summary page.

If not caught the voters would have voted unknowingly for a repub.

Regrettably, I have no knowledge of how many votes like this were not caught by the unsuspecting.

14. What is this local guy's name? What is the station ID?
Is this a regularly scheduled program? Did you tape any of it when you noted where he was heading? Make notes? Is there a transcript available? Does the station have a web site where we can comment?

Sorry about all the questions, but follow-up is critical. We need every bit of information from every reliable source.

Thanks.

18. His name is Cornell McCleary (sp)
He is a black conservative that works for Clear Channel. He hosts a political talk show every Sunday Night from 7-10 right before Drudge.

He's always seemed like a decent guy.

I'll look for a transcript.

No, I couldn't take notes because I was at work.

I hope we're getting somewhere, little by little.

Note: I just had to look, and found his station, http://www.wtvn.com, but nothing about a transcript or this controversial show. Maybe in the coming week. Their number is 1-800-610-WTVN

15. There are people besides us who smell a rat
A whole bunch of rats. I've spoken to some folks who feel the election was stolen. They were both speechless and thrilled to learn there is investigating currently going on via Bev Harris and that we're helping to get the word out to anyone and everyone.

We will not be greeted with disbelief when this gets wider exposure. The ones who will scream, though, are the Faux News nazis and their followers. Volume does not equal numbers, though. Plus, I just don't give a flip about Faux News or their dittoheads. I prefer letting facts come between me and an opinion, hence I have little in common with them. Thank goodness.

19. Thanks for saying that. That's why this initiative is so important --
It includes a sample letter to send to friends, relatives, media, etc., and a HUGE collection of links from DU:

URGENT: VOTE FRAUD? Tell everyone you know -- details
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x1337662

PLEASE help us get the word out -- it's so important to inform people, to confirm, validate and/or reassure those who already know or suspect.

25. The Fraud is likely real
On the Face the Nation, Karl Rove could not believe the early Exit Polls. He said that they were 19 points down in PA. I think that someone asked for a fix after the early Exit Polls showed Kerry winning.

29. Yes they went overboard in changing the vote
The could have taken some of bush's votes away in some of his safe areas -- but when you see numbers like

REP DEM
54.10% 11.10%
220.40% -68.40%
61.10% -13.70%
145.80% 51.30%
28.70% 13.70%
433.20% 56.90%
37.10% 8.30%
34.70% -9.20%

The above numbers are from this site:
http://ustogether.org/Florida_Election.htm

These are numbers from Diebold, Sequoia, and ES&S e-voting machines.

Check the above website and spend some time with the numbers -- input them into a spreadsheet program or even a word processor program with tables. When you slowly look at the numbers -- you do not need to be a math genius to see that something is really stinky about the numbers -- like fraud!

Now the really frightening thought -- bushie will do ANYTHING at all to cover up the fraud -- right now he has order the slaughter of Iraqi civilians to divert attention away from this developing story.

He will do ANYTHING to keep what he has "won" which we KNOW has been stolen.
