9. Actually...Monday's Nightline lambasted BushCo...

Did anyone see Monday's Nightline?

The program featured several soldiers, from the same southern area, who were killed in Iraq. "Nightline" covered their funerals and showed the flag-draped coffins, thus violating Pentagon requests to not show the coffins.

In addition, the program was very emotional and cut into the Bush administration for unfairly using the National Guard/Reserves to fight the Iraq war.

Interviews and sound bytes were ALL against the war. Not one positive (or even neutral) quote from anyone. Quotes included very cogent comments about the war not being worth it anymore, and the cost to America being too high.

Fallen soldier's loved ones were interviewed. It was a very distressing, honest program.

I'm wondering if "Nightline" has decided to engage in legitimate journalism.

aired the special that showed the pictures of all of the fallen men and women and were trashed to the ground by the Repugs.
Mythinks is perhaps that Ted Koppel is now going to start spewing the truth because none of the Repugs are thinking impeachment--they were just worried about being left intact until inaugeration day.

Dear Mr Koppel,

The 2004 presidential election is invalid.

More than 30 % of the American eligible voters used vapor ballot devices.

No means exist to verify to each of those voters that their vote was recorded as they intended.

None.

It is an unarguable, unambiguous fact. The technology used does not permit verification to the voter that their vote was recorded and tabulated as they intended.

In addition, when we look at 'exit poll' data -- those states that used ballot methods that support verification, such as Oregon, we find no deviation from the prediction of the exit poll. In every state in which a vapor-ballot device was used (even if only used in one or two counties, such as WA State) we have a uniform shift in the prediction of the exit poll information -- a uniform shift from Kerry to Bush.

That could not have happened by chance.

Coupled with the fact that NO means exist to verify to each voter that their vote was recorded as they intended, in each of those States, and the conclusion is inescapable.

WE HAVE NO ELECTION.

Our American franchise of democracy and the Constitution on which it is based are being threatened. The most anti-American act conceivable -- permitting a potentially invalid election to stand -- is about to be indelibly recorded.
