F'in' North Carolina...
Hey North Carolina? How many friggin' jobs does your state have to lose before you wake up?????

If Bush wins - I hope your state goes bust.

21. I've been wearing my Kerry pin for weeks,
my car bumper is loaded with Kerry/Edward stickers
and anti bush stickers, I've sent money everywhere.

Its sad....but I don't care as long as the nation
as a whole votes for Kerry.

9. it is a tradition to feel ashamed for NC, take Jesse Helms
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 09:28 PM by G_j
a tradition of terrible choices.. It is depressing to vote in NC. Clinton never won here, not to mention Gore.

One very bright note for us in WNC, it lookes like 8 term RW monster Senator Charles Taylor is losing to Democrat Patsie Keever!
on edit: now Taylor 51% and Keever 49% damn..

12. The voters have spoken. We're LOSING NC. Thanks Edwards.
Swear and cuss all you want. But it's reality. Down by over 30 EVs!

Oh and we just lost Virginia. My state. How could the Indian astrologers have been this wrong?

15. Hey Don't Dis NC
I know for a fact that we got good people here. A lot of the Repubs I know are rich Northerners who moved here thinking its a more conservative place. Yes, we have our share of hicks and dumbass rednecks, but most of the intelligent people I know speak with a North Carolinian accent.

Still, only a certain percentage of the votes have been counted, C'mon Kerry!!! Take NC!!!

16. What was the point of going with Edwards then?
I'm sure there will be plenty of Kerry campaign strategy critiques in the coming weeks, whether we win or not. Just add this to the fucking list.

22. It is depressing to vote in NC.
Whoever said, "It is depressing to vote in NC" was right. It is. This state would be for the Repuke candidate for pres even if the D's nominated Jesse Helms and Dale Earnhardt Jr. But we liberal, atheist NC'ans get out and vote anyway. Even our Dems act like Repukes (Easley with his "under god" commercial). And as for Edwards, I am telling you now just like I told everyone all along: he would have LOST a bid for re-election if he ran... That's the facts as I see -em.
