trouble in florida- orange and osceola going bush????
WTF! both went for gore in 2000, and are now going to bush. orange is falling big to bush. i live in the orlando area, and let me tell you- osceola is hugely black and hispanic, and quite poor (comparitively). if we cannot win there, we may be losing florida. they did get absolutely ravaged by three of the four hurricanes, so hopefully that is it. i am keeping my fingers crossed.

4. The Fix is in
Florida must be looked at with suspicion. Chimp and brother of Chimp have too much control there. It will be a sad day for democracy if they get away with it.

5. I live in Orange
Kerry signs far outnumber * signs here, plus voter turnout was huge. If they say it's going to * "big time", then somebody is lying.

6. Let's not forget that
Palm Beach and Broward aren't really reporting yet, so any gains by Bush in central Florida will probably at least be offset in the SE.

9. unfortunately, these are the "official" state dept. of elections numbers..
http://enight.dos.state.fl.us/20041102_DET_PRE.html
i don't doubt that these may be manipulated as well, but these are the <fake> numbers that will award the electoral votes. right?

10. no
Jeb contacted the media with this bullshit. By definition, it is NOT to be listened to. The TV stations should not have reported this crap, and DU should of course ignore it.

(though there have been about a zillion threads started on this Jeb spin, for some odd reason...)

12. I did
Those are stated at the top as UNOFFICIAL election results. Absentee and early voting has not been counted towards the total yet.

16. very good point about the early voting!!!!!!
17% of registered voters voted early, and those went big for kerry. with that in mind, if today's results are even close, kerry should win with the early voting factored in. whew!
